Badly Drawn Boy @ Cambridge Junction, Nov 2006

All I can say is draw droppingly great. No faults to find, no gripes and groans - the perfect gig. He played for 2 hours, he interacted with the crowd, he looked like he was enjoying himself, he gave it his all, his voice sounded wonderful, old and new songs sounded equally as beautiful. The man is a god. Nuff said.

Howling Bells @ the Junction Shed, Oct 2006

I wasn't sure if I was going to go to this gig or not. I'd seen HB a couple of times and, although they'd always been great, I couldn't see what more they could offer - with only one album, I guessed they were just gonna play it again. But, I'd never been to the Shed before so I thought I'd give it a go. And the amazing sound made it all worthwhile. It was loud and clear with no distortion what-so-ever and I there were backing vocals and keyboard sounds that I'd never heard before. It gave the music a whole new lease of life; a real lift, and I was glad I'd made the effort. If you see a gig that you're not sure about and it's on at the Shed, I'd say it's worth going.
